Taylor is listed as only four-years-old, yet her physical description of the female blue and white pit bull mix is a sad testament to having been terribly mistreated and neglected. Now at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter, Taylor's eyes are clouded over and oozing a green slime while her ears appear to have been bitten up by flies; yet her videos reflect a shy, friendly and loving dog ready to find a home and finally some responsible care.
Taylor will be available for adoption on August 1. She has been at the shelter since July 25. Please refer to #A469807.
Volunteer Cari NoBslEnnis, accompanied by her young daughter, personally met Taylor and had this to write about the sweet and extra-friendly pooch in Kennel #45:
"...Loved my daughter. Very mellow. Her eyes are cloudy. Wiped so much gunk out of them, not sure if she is seeing at 100%. Her ears have fly strikes. Applied antibiotic ointment, but will need to see a vet for the insides. Such a wonderful girl. Looks like they bred her for profit, then discarded."
Judge for yourself by watching this video how much Taylor really wants to be rescued. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCSvzzw_Blg&feature=youtu.be
