Everybody loves celebrity weddings. It doesn't matter if you're a sentimental fool or a snarky cynic, there's always a little something to gossip about. We had it all in 2011, from Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal wedding in April to Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' whirlwind marriage that started in August and ended 72 days later.
Here's a month-by-month timeline of 2011 celebrity weddings. (Don't miss the slideshow, with photos of all of the couples.)
JANUARY: Two country couples rang in the New Year at the altar. Superstar Shania Twain and Swiss businessman Frederic Thiebaud exchanged vows at a romantic oceanside wedding in Puerto Rico, proving that living well -- and marrying the ex-husband of the woman who broke up your marriage -- is the best revenge. Singer Kellie Pickler and singer-songwriter Kyle Jacobs eloped to Antigua, where their wedding became a music video for "Say I Do," a song Jacobs wrote for his bride.
FEBRUARY: Two weeks after "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer's divorce (from Camille Grammer) was final, he married British flight attendant Kayte Walsh inside New York's Longacre Theater, where he had starred in the Tony-winning revival of La Cage Aux Folles. TMZ reported that the couple did a karaoke set to celebrate at the reception.
MARCH: Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon married agent Jim Toth in a private ceremony at her Ojai ranch estate. It was a tasteful, traditional wedding. No music videos or flash mobs. She walked down the aisle to "Here Comes the Bride." The following week, Grammy Award-winning singer and actor Michael Buble and Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato were married in a small civil cermony in Buenos Aires. They flew back to Canada a few days later and got married in Vancouver at a wedding attended by more than 300 friends and family.
APRIL: A week before the royal wedding across the pond, country diva Leann Rhimes married actor Eddie Cibrian. The two met in 2008 on a TV-movie set when both of them were married to other people. Their extramarital love affair became tabloid fodder until they both divorced their spouses. But that shoddy business was all forgotten when, on April 29, Prince William and Kate Middleton became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, royal wedded heirs to the British throne. An estimated three billion people watched on TV as the beautiful royal couple carried out what the New York Times called "an impeccably choreographed occasion of high pomp and heartfelt emotion." They also tweeted, re-tweeted, posted and shared photos of the bizarre hats worn by guests, especially the giant oversized bow that sat on top of Princess Beatrice of York's head.
MAY: Entertainer and weight-loss queen Marie Osmond launched the merry month's nuptials by remarrying her first husband, Stephen Craig, whom she divorced in 1985. The couple were married in a very small ceremony at the Mormon temple in Las Vegas. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo married beauty queen Candice Crawford in front of 600 people at Arlington Hall in Dallas. They served ribs and pizza at the reception.

Another "Ugly Betty" cast member, Judith Light, officiated.

After the ceremony, the wedding party moved to Moss's nearby home for a three-day reception, where they presumably partied like rock stars. Pop diva Lily Allen and painter Sam Cooper tied the knot at St. James church in Cranham, Gloucestershire. They obliged the crowd of fans and posed for photographs outside of the church.
