In 1920, during a cigar workers strike, F. Lozano and Sons decided to close and leased its plant to Corral, Wodiska y Ca.
At the top of this picture are the faded words "Tampa Casket Co."
In 2005, the Lions Eye Institute for Transplant Research purchased the building and renovated it for their new Headquarters and research facility.
