Yarnover truck may be headed to your neighborhood (Video)

We have all had a fiber dream at one time or another. Maridee and Barbara put their passion for knitting and crocheting into their dream of a business on the go. Their goal, "not only to sell yarn, but to increase awareness and provide needlearts education, with a focus on knitting and crocheting."

Yarnover Truck is their idea of a local yarn store on wheels. Maridee and Barbara have combined the food truck business model with a mobile yarn store. The truck filled with yarn and needlework accessories, will stop at various venues including street fairs, craft fairs, art and music festivals, food truck events, and farmer’s markets in the Southern California area.

They are looking for help, monetarily that is through an Indiegogo. An Indiegogo is a crowdfunding site where money can be raised for small businesses, art, music, charity...
The money donated will help renovate the truck, purchase computer equipment to record sales and track inventory and of course inventory. Stop by their sight to see how they are progressing and maybe offer some assistance.

The ladies are trying to get the truck moving by March of this year. How convienent, walk out your front door and into your "very local" yarn shop. We look forward to hearing the yarns about their journey.
