Yamaha will stream Disney concert live, featuring Elton John and more

For the company's 125th anniversary, Yamaha will be streaming their concert, featuring Elton John, live tonight from the Hyperion Theater in Disneyland's California Adventure in Anaheim, CA. The free streaming was announced by the company today on the eve of the National Association of Musical Merchants convention.

This is the first time in the company's history that a concert will be streamed live on the internet in real-time.

In order to promote the music instrument company, Elton John will be performing his five-song piece with Yamaha's Disklavier Piano. The Disklavier line was introduced in 1987 and featured multiple inputs for various advanced recording technologies over the years, including: MIDI, Floppy Disks, CD-ROMs, USBs and more. The highlight of tonight's event will emphasize new technology to be implemented in future Disklavier Pianos. Predictions revolve around Blu-ray compatibility.

His performance will begin at 10:25 PM and will accompanied by other musical legends such as Amy Grant; Earth, Wind & Fire; Toto; Sinbad; Sarah McLachlan; Landon Pigg; James Newtown Howard and more; which begin at 8 PM.
