Yamaha R15 launched in India, price, review, photos and video

Yamaha India has launched its latest motorcycle 'Yamaha R15' at the Lee Meridian Hotel, New Delhi in India on September 6, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. The upgraded bike is priced at Rs 1.07 lakh in India.

Yamaha R15 is available in three new exciting colors Racing Blue, Midnight Black and Sunset Red.

The company has worked on some of the existing model's key areas, which as per the Indian road conditions should make for a better, safer and more solid ride. Read the complete review.

The new R15 has seats and LED tail lights. The seats are slip resistant and well cushioned. The new R15 has wider rear tires than the old one. The R15 also has better grip and stability on the roads.

The new features wich are adde tto the Yamaha R15 are as below:

- All-new LED tail light which looks much better.
- New ECU mapping for better acceleration and mileage
- Bigger 220mm rear disc for improved braking
- Weight increased by 5kgs (now it weighs 136kgs)
- New design for saree guard and mudguard
- First 150cc Indian bike to feature aluminium swingarm
- New decals/draphics which are now in white shade
- Fat rear tire - 130/70 - R17
