In a second stage in redesigning Yahoo they have unveiled a new 'My Yahoo' page. The new page still shows the weather, news headlines and everything else that we liked about the old 'My Yahoo' page. There are several new features and options that make the new page a better reflexion of your personality.
The first thing that really catches your eye when you go to 'My Yahoo' is that the page is the same purple as the logo. If you don't like the purple look there are dozens of themes that you can choose from to quickly customize the page to make it your own. Some examples of the themes choices are a green gridiron for the football fan, there are two different Mr. Monopoly for the game fan, an icon scene from Avatar for the science fiction fan plus so much more to express your taste.
You can quickly customize the page with what you are most interest by both deleting the content that comes standard on the page and using the 'Add content' button. When you do choose to add content there is over a dozen categories with dozens of sub categories so you can choose what interest you. For instance if your of the type that goes to the comics in the paper you just click on the 'Add content' button, click on applications and then click on the plus sign '+' to add comics to your page. It will only display one comic at a time but you can choose which one by simply using the drop down box located in the upper right corner of the comic display panel.
The standard layout on the page is two-columns but that can also be easily changed by clicking on the 'edit layout' button. Currently there are only two additional choices of either a three-column or four-column layout. Jeff tried all three choices and liked both the two-column and three-column but found the four-column layout a little crowded.
Earlier this month Yahoo started redesigning their sight when they introduced a new logo.
