XThirt13n plans release of debut CD and world tour

TAMPA - There has been no slowing down for area metal band, Xthirt13n, as the band is currently hard at work planning the up-coming independent release of their debut CD, as well as an up-coming world tour to follow later this year.

Based out of Tampa, Xthirt13n is made up of veteran musicians such as lead vocalist Tim Aymar (Control Denied, Pharaoh), Guitarist Rollie Feldman (Circle II Circle), guitarist Joey Torres, bassist Taz Gardner, and drummer Johnny Osborn (Doctor Butcher, Circle II Circle).

Xthirt13n describes themselves as having a melodic heavy sound, engineered by American/German innovation. The band describes their music as having powerful, thought provoking lyrics within a thick, surreal ambiance while providing a cathartic soundscape, enchanting mainstream listeners and Metal fanatics alike. Xthirt13n says their musical and visual concepts coalesce to create an unforgettable live performance, an experience well suited to both modest venues and massive stadiums.

Xthirt13n has recently finished recording and mastering their debut CD, A Taste of the Light. A Taste of the Light will be a 13 song CD which will not only include Xthirt13n’s originals, but will also include their cover version of the Rolling Stones hit, “Sympathy for the Devil” as well.

Preliminary work on A Taste of the Light actually began when Feldman and Osborn left Circle II Circle in 2011. Following their departure from the band, the two veteran musicians quickly began writing songs together, and then conspiring later in the studio.

Though no official release date has been announced as of yet, the band is shooting to release the CD sometime this summer. In the mean time, fans can listen to a sneak peak preview of five of the songs featured on A Taste of the Light by visiting Xthirt13n’s official Reverbnation page.

Following the up-coming summer release of their debut CD, Xthirt13n will be kicking off a world tour later this year. The band plans on starting their tour here in the United States, followed by dates in Canada, Europe, Japan, South America and Australia. The band is hoping to secure a record deal prior to the start of their tour.

In regards to Xthirt13n’s time line and their progress so far, Osborn has the following response...

"We are right where we want to be."
