Jurgen Klinsmann, U.S. Men’s National Team Coach, called Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente midfielder Joe Corona and defender Greg Garza to the upcoming game against the Czech Republic in Prague. Amongst the 22 players capped is Michael Orozco of Puebla FC, also part of Mexico’s La Liga MX.
According to U.S. Soccer, Klinsmann capped 15 players who are aged 24 and under, amongst them the two players from the Apertura 2012 Champions. The USMNT are beginning the new process to reach Russia 2018. This is the first FIFA date after Brazil 2014 and a good opportunity to test young players.
