The results for Xfinity’s first “The People’s Hotlist” have been posted. For a week and a half in July, Xfinity TV customers were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite shows by simply watching them.
The top 10 most popular shows are:
1. The Last Ship (TNT)
2. Big Brother (CBS)
3. 24: Live Another Day (FOX)
4. The Strain (FX)
5. Bad Girls Club (Oxygen)
6. The Bridge (FX)
7. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (VH1)
8. America's Got Talent (NBC)
9. Under the Dome (CBS)
10. Power (STARZ)
During the course of the event, 23 million hours of programming on The People’s Hotlist were watched by Xfinity TV customers and more than 20 million votes were cast by Xfinity TV customers.
The majority of votes consisted of serial dramas and reality shows and more than 700,000 votes went to children’s programming such as Frozen, Despicable Me 2, and The Lego Movie.

In comparison to the national People’s Hotlist, Xfinity’ s top-viewed local On Demand movies in Utah through the week of July 20 - 26 On Demand were:
1. Bad Words
2. The LEGO Movie

Xfinity continuously strives to provide a variety of ways for customers to discover and view the top-rated shows on Xfinity On Demand. In April, Comcast held its annual in Xfinity Watchathon Week. For an entire week, customers were able to view full seasons of their favorite shows and TV binge on entire series.
The second annual Watchathon Week blew past 2013 viewing records, closing in on 50 million hours of top shows, such as Game of Thrones, The Mindy Project, Archer, Chicago Fire, Grimm, Cosmos and Parks and Recreation.
