Microsoft announced Monday that the latest piece to recording videos of Xbox One games and sharing them with others will be in place tomorrow with an update to the YouTube app.

The YouTube app will be updated Tuesday, April 8 with the ability share videos captured with the Xbox One Game DVR instantly to a user's YouTube channel. The YouTube app will add a new "My Uploads" sections for users to find the videos they've created.

Additionally, the YouTube app update will allow users to watch YouTube videos in Snap mode, pin individual YouTube videos and add YouTube channels to the One Guide right alongside TV listings and other media apps. There are even Achievements being added to the app.

Microsoft recently added the ability to stream Xbox One gameplay via Twitch but the ability to upload videos captured with the Game DVR was limited to SkyDrive (now OneDrive). This update puts the console on par with the PS4 in terms of video sharing now as Sony's console has supported the ability to upload to YouTube since launch.
