Xbox One 'Titanfall' and 'Forza 5' bundles get $50 discount at Amazon too

Following $50 discounts on Xbox One bundles featuring Titanfall and Forza Motorsports 5 on Friday from Best Buy and Walmart, Amazon stepped up Saturday with a similar offer for those that use a code during checkout.

Both the Xbox One Titanfall Bundle and the Xbox One Forza Motorsport 5 Bundle are available for $449.99 from Amazon when you apply code "XIAMAZON" during checkout. Free shipping is available but state sales tax may be applicable depending on the state you live in.

Note that the console needs to be shipped and sold by Amazon for the discount to apply.

The standard Xbox One, controller, Kinect, headset and other accessories are all part of both bundles along with a download code for both games. Titanfall is a 16.39 GB download though while Forza Motorsport 5 is a 31 GB download. So, you'll need to plan accordingly when downloading the game and find something else to do to occupy your wait time to drop in a Titan or race a car.

In Examiner's review of Titanfall, the game was described as intensely fun and praised for the free-running and mech gameplay mechanics that keep it from the rut that other military and sci-fi shooters fall in. However, the game could use a little more polish to clean up some frame rate and other issues.
