Xbox One stock returns to Best Buy [Update]

It appears that Microsoft sent out a fresh batch of Xbox One consoles as Amazon and Walmart briefly had the next-gen console in stock and now Best Buy has it available for Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The stand-alone Xbox One Day One Edition is available to order from Best Buy right now for $499.99 while supplies last. There are also various bundle options available with Call of Duty: Ghosts, an extra controller and 12-months of Xbox LIVE starting at $559.98.

Free shipping is available but state sales tax is applicable. Additionally, in-store pick up is not an option.

Update: Best Buy sold out quickly but Amazon has the standard edition in-stock for $499.99 with free shipping.

It's a bit odd that the Day One Edition is in-stock at Best Buy as both Amazon and Walmart had the standard edition of the console available for order. How Best Buy ended up with an allocation of Day Ones is anybody's guess but it's a chance to get the extra goodies that come with the edition such as the Day One Edition controller, Achievement, etc.

Expect these to go fast as the availability of both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 is constrained by how fast the console makers can get them produced and shipped to retailers.
