Microsoft dropped names Wednesday on which indie developers have signed up for the Xbox One's ID@Xbox self-publishing program. It includes a mix of current PS4 exclusives, new faces and developers that have a history of developing for the Xbox.

In a post on the Xbox News Wire, Microsoft's ID@Xbox director Chris Charla said that the program is meant to bring developers of all sizes to the Xbox One and that more than 50 indie studios have already received dev kits as part of the first wave.

"We've been amazed at the response from developers to ID@Xbox, and we really appreciate their patience as we ramp up the program," Charla wrote.

"It's been great to see the diversity in developers who are joining the ID@Xbox program. Interest in ID@Xbox has been global – from Japan to Finland, developers in more than 50 countries are excited to get their games on Xbox One."

Some of those developers include Iron Galaxy who will bring the fighting game parody, Divekick, over from the PS4 and PS3. Zeboyd's Cosmic Star Heroine is another one game that was originally announced for the PS4, PS Vita and PC that will now come to the Xbox One as confirmed by Eurogamer.

Meanwhile, familiar Xbox LIVE Arcade developers for the Xbox 360 such as Signal Studios, Zen Studios, Bongfish, Half-Brick and Ninja Bee have all signed up for the ID@Xbox program. New faces include Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune's new Comcept studio which is developing a spiritual successor called Mighty No. 9.

Interestingly, Ryse: Son of Rome developer Crytek has also signed up to self-publish which suggests its free-to-play shooter, Warface, might eventually come to the Xbox One.

The first self-published indie games should begin arriving on the Xbox One early in 2014 per Charla. The list below is the studios confirmed to be working on Xbox One games by Microsoft but Charla calls this just a sampling.
