Buy.com dropped the price of the 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold Card on Monday to a new low for 2013.
Update: This deal is now dead.
The 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold Card is available for $34.99 from Buy.com with free shipping available and no tax in most states. This is $25 off the regular price.
For comparison, Amazon has the 12-month Xbox LIVE subscription for $48 to $49 depending on whether you purchase the physical card or the online code that is distributed by email. It may be worth keeping an eye on Amazon though as they will occasionally price match. However, you never know when.
An Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is needed to access online play and messaging services for the Xbox 360 along with the many entertainment and social apps including Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, Last.fm, HBO Go and ESPN. Microsoft recently announced plans to roll out more than 40 new entertainment apps worldwide over the next year.
