Xbox 720 has yet to receive any official information regarding its release date, but given some recent information that has surfaced, some believe the console will hit retailers before Halloween.
According to a report from EjectDisk yesterday, it is supposedly fair to infer that because "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" is apparently going to be released on Oct. 29th, the Xbox 720 will be released then as well.
The PlayStation 4 was inferred in the piece as well, but folks can forget about that one because Sony said it would be out sometime during the holidays, which implies November or December, not October.
Another aspect people have not considered is the fact that Ubisoft could be planning to release this installment simply before the Xbox 720 and PS4 arrive.
It has happened before with other next-generation consoles, and in fact, that is exactly what they did with "Assassin's Creed III" last year.
Last year's game was released on Oct. 30th and was available on the Wii U, but Nintendo's system did not release until the middle of November.
So for those who believe the PS4 will release with the new "Assassin's Creed," you can think again, but as for the Xbox 720, while it is highly unlikely, it could happen given the level of competition these two systems will bring out.
