Xbox 720 manufacturer talks PS4 unveiling (Photos)

Jon Grimes has provided several comments in regards to the potential unveiling of PS4 during the Playstation Meeting event that will be held on Feb. 20. According to a report by Now Gamer on Feb. 14, the regional director at Microsoft (the console manufacturer for the upcoming Xbox 720) believed that the announcement would be important to the video games industry. However, he also warned that Sony about the factors that previously led to the success of a gaming system would be changing over the next ten years. You can check out some fan made concept designs of the PS4 and Xbox 720 in the slideshow at the top of this article in addition to the comments from Jon Grimes below (courtesy of Now Gamer):

The announcement is important for the industry, but it is also important to remember who is buying right now. Ten years ago, to think we would be the leader in our second generation is a achievement. What has got us to where we are today is not going to be what gets us through the next ten years.

Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox 720 will be battling against each other, as well as the Nintendo Wii U system that was released on Nov. 18, 2012, when both next-generation system launch by the end of this year in North America.
