Xbox 720 exclusivity agreement has just been made with Electronic Arts (Photos)

Although Microsoft has yet to officially reveal the Xbox 720, it seems that EA has reportedly signed an agreement than confirms an exclusive deal with Microsoft's next generation console. According to an article that was published by CVG yesterday, Electronic Arts has apparently signed “a key exclusivity agreement” for the Xbox 720.

According to various sources, it is stated that an official announcement of this exclusive content will be brought to light at the speculated Xbox 720 unveiling in April. It is insisted that this exclusivity agreement is based around exclusive DLC or a timed exclusive title.

With this information released, speculation has arisen that this exclusive deal may be related to “Battlefield 4” or Respawn Entertainment's upcoming title. EA has already stated that they will be showcasing “Battlefield 4” in the near future, while Respawn Entertainment has stated that they will be making an appearance at this year's E3 and that they will not be empty handed.

For now, we will just have to wait until Microsoft and EA give further details on this exclusive deal. For those interested, you can view a few concept photos of the Xbox 720 in the slideshow featured above this article.
