Xbox 720 anti used games policy effect on PS4 revealed (Photos)

The Edge staff has revealed the effect the rumored anti used games feature of the Xbox 720 will have on the PS4. According to a report from the Edge gaming website on Feb. 6, Microsoft will have a hard time selling their next-generation system because retail sales associates will recommend Sony’ new console instead. This is because the PS4 is more powerful and will feature the ability to play used titles. You can check out some fan made concept designs of the PS4 and Xbox 720 in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from the Edge staff below (courtesy of Edge Online):

Walk into a game retailer (should you be able to find one by the time these consoles arrive) and the choice could be simple: PlayStation 4 is more powerful, and plays second-hand games.

Sony will most likely be making an official announcement regarding the PS4 during the Playstation Meeting event on Feb. 20. Microsoft is expected to do a formal unveiling for the Xbox 720 in the near future as well. Both next-generation systems are projected to be coming out in North America by the end of this year.
