Last week Ubisoft confirmed that a new installment to the popular “Assassin's Creed” franchise will be releasing in the fiscal year 2014. With the initial announcement of this, it was also confirmed that a new protagonist and time setting will be introduced with the next installment to the franchise. In addition to this, it has been questioned if this title would be appearing on the PS4 and Xbox 720.
With a release time-frame of fiscal year 2014, this title will be released somewhere between April 2013 in March 31, 2014, as stated by NowGamer on Feb. 13. Is currently expected that the PS4 and Xbox 720 will be released prior to holidays 2013.
With this being said, it seems very likely that the next installment to the “Assassin's Creed” franchise could find a release on the PS4 and Xbox 720. Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, this does seem like the logical step for Ubisoft.
