According to a job listing that appeared yesterday, it seems that Bethesda is now looking for programmers to work on an unannounced title for future generation consoles, which is most likely referring to the Xbox 720 and PS4.
As described on the website of the parent company for Bethesda, ZeniMax, they are now looking for “experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles.” Bethesda is searching for someone that has at least five years of game development experience with multiple titles shipped. It is also stated that experience programming and optimizing the Xbox 360 and PS3 is required. Additionally, experience with DirectX 11 is a plus.
Currently, there is no information on what type of projects Bethesda will be looking to bring to the Xbox 720 and PS4. Two popular proponents will be the next iteration to the “Fallout” or “The Elder Scrolls” franchises. For those that may be interested, we have listed a few concept photos of the Xbox 720 and PS4 in the slideshow above this article.
