The Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4 will be receiving some new titles, and apparently from the actions of folks from TNA and Activision, the two systems could be looking at getting a new TNA wrestling game.
According to a report from WrestlingGamer on Saturday, a newly discovered report has pointed to a new game potentially coming for TNA on what most would assume will hit the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4.
Apparently, TNA Wrestling executives have been visiting California lately to try and meet with some gaming producers regarding a new TNA title.
Those on the TNA side of things were looking to sign a new deal with one of the bigger gaming publishers to help bring a new TNA game to consoles.
The individuals from TNA were Dixie Carter and Jason Harvey who met with some Activision producers that have interest in the franchise.
No official information has been sent out quite yet, but the next-generation of gaming has always seemed like the right time to bring out new content like this.
Activision recently dropped the "007" license and reports stated that the company was going to try to develop less licensed games, which a new TNA game would be.
It would be interesting to see what Activision could accomplish with a TNA franchise, and with it presumably ending up on Xbox 720 and PS4.
