Microsoft teamed up with various retailers last week to offer a discount on Xbox 360 consoles and a $50 gift card/store credit. It was confirmed Sunday, Sept. 30 that the $50 gift store credit and discount was extended at Amazon while just the gift card offer remains at Best Buy and the discount at Walmart.
While two other retailers have dropped their promotions, Amazon has various versions of the Xbox 360 "E" console on sale currently including the 4GB Xbox 360 E for $20 off at $179.99 plus the 4GB Xbox 360 E Kinect Bundle and the 250GB Xbox 360 E marked down to $50 to $249.99. The 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect Nike+ Bundle is also discounted $50 and all of these consoles comes with a $50 store credit.
Meanwhile, Best Buy no longer has the discounts available on the Xbox 360 but does have the $50 gift card available on all versions of the Xbox 360 E console, the 250GB Xbox 360 Darksiders II and Batman: Arkham City Bundle, the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle and the 4GB Xbox 360.
Additionally, Walmart is still running with the $20 to $50 discounts on the Xbox 360 depending on the model.
Free shipping is available at both retailers with in-store pick up an option at Best Buy and Walmart. Sales tax is applicable though depending on your state.
