Taking place 150 years before the events of “BlazBlue”, “XBlaze Code: Embryo” will follow the adventure of Touya Kagari, a high school student who gets caught up in events beyond his understanding, when he comes under attack and is saved by a girl called Es. After the rescue, Es refuses to leave Touya’s side, claiming that it is her mission to keep him safe. Now, alongside his new companion, Touya will have to uncover the hidden truth surrounding his predicament, while also dealing with being thrust into a supernatural world filled with magic.

Using the unique “TOi” path system, “XBlaze Code: Embryo” will bring information about Touya’s surroundings to player’s fingertips and depending on what they choose to read, Touya’s path will change. As Touya’s path alters, gamers will be able to unlock several different endings, including a gag one.
