X-Play auctions signed merchandise for Child's Play Charity

Many gamers were saddened by the news, when X-Play announced it would be ending its long run, alongside of Attack of the Show.

X-Play was originally named GameSpot TV and has been around since 1998, when it first aired on ZDTV with Adam Sessler as the host.

GameSpot TV was later changed to, Extended Play, and then finally X-Play on April 28, 2003, where it was aired on TechTV. In 2003, Morgan Webb joined Adam Sessler as a co-host. Sessler later left X-Play.

On January 23rd, 2013 X-Play had its final episode. For fans of the show looking to hold onto a piece of this gaming television history, there are a few items up for auction on eBay.

This auction includes:

1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Statue

2. Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo 4 Bundle (signed)

3. Script From the Final X-Play Episode (signed)

The Skyrim statue was displayed in the G4 lobby, and is 7 feet tall.

The best part about this auction isn't just to have a piece of history, signed from some of your favorite personalities (such as Morgan Webb) but 100% of the proceeds goes towards Child's Play Charity.

Child's Play Charity mission is to, "...improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world..."

If you are interested in any of these auctions, they end on January 30th, 2013. Though they are going for a high price, you can feel good about having a piece of memorabilia from X-Play, and donating directly towards a charity.

What were your memories of X-Play, G4, or TechTV?
