X Games to live stream The Flaming Lips, Gary Clark Jr. and more this June

There is good news for live music fans who are not able to the attend the first X Games held in Austin this June. The event has announced plans to live stream some of the acts including The Flaming Lips, Bad Religion and local favorite Gary Clark Jr. Headliner Kayne West was not mentioned in the official anouncement sent to media this afternoon. The live music webcast will be streamed on XGames.com, the X Games Facebook page and the X Games Livestream Channel.

In addition to the acts already mentioned, Pretty Lights, Mac Miller, Slightly Stoopid, Dillon Francis, Mayer Hawthorne, Wavves, Cash Cash, FMLYBAND and the KUTX Austin Music stage and dance hall will be featured in the live stream. The Austin public radio station's stage will feature to EDM artists and DJs.

It is not clear if local acts, My Jerusalem, Black Pistol Fire, Not in the Face, The Black and White Years, Leopold and His Fiction and Little Radar will be included in the streaming schedule which is reason enough to purchase tickets to the music festival portion of the X Games. Those are some great Austin bands on this year's expanded music schedule.

There will be live television coverage of the sports events on ABC and ESPN networks. ESPN 3 will carry additional coverage. Former skateboard king, Tony Hawk will provide analysis with hosts, Louie Vito and Brandon Graham. While a detailed music festival streaming schedule has yet to be released (music schedule poster can be found in our slideshow though) the entire television broadcast schedule is below:
