X Factor winners Little Mix, Lloyd top UK Singles charts

Fresh off winning The X Factor (UK) title, girl group Little Mix has topped the coveted UK Singles Chart. According to the Official Charts Company, breaking the news Sunday, R&B singer Lloyd continues to top the R&B singles chart as well.

"X Factor 2011 winners Little Mix blast to the top of the Official Singles Chart today with their debut release, ‘Cannonball’ shifting over 210,000 copies in its first week," reports The Official Charts Company.
 
"Cannonball" is reportedly the biggest first week sales for a single so far this year, outselling the rest of this week’s Official Singles Chart Top 5 combined.

As widely reported, Little Mix won The X Factor last week.
 
In related news, R&B singer Lloyd earned a second week atop the UK R&B Singles Chart, Sunday, with "Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)". The song stems from Lloyd's Interscope debut, "King of Hearts".
