Tate Stevens scored one of the biggest cash prizes in singing competition history when he won on the show “The X Factor”. Stevens is the second winner of the popular singing competition show, winning the title prize of 5 million dollars and a recording contract with RCA Records back in 2012.
Since then Stevens has been touring the country promoting and performing for fans young and old songs from his self- titled album. Before he became the winner of The X Factor, Stevens early years could be considered his training ground.
In 2005 Stevens joined a local band in Missouri where he was living. Over the years in 2008 Tate branched out on his own forming his own band and releasing an independent album. In 2012 he took a chance and auditioned for the second season of The X Factor, moving through the competition with strong appeal and praise from the judges, it was no surprise to fans when Stevens was crowned the winner of the X Factor in December of 2012.
Now he is making his way back to the Valley of the Sun for a night of fun and country music at the Talking Stick resort. Tate has visited the city of Scottsdale as a guest on the red carpet at Muhammad Ali charity event Celebrity Fight Night earlier this year in March of 2013.
