'X Factor' U.K. concert in London gets rave reviews; Liam Payne, Rita Ora attend

One Direction's Liam Payne, 19, and singer Rita Ora, 22, were two of the stars who attended "The X Factor" U.K. concert at the O2 Arena in London on Feb. 7, 2013. The concert got rave reviews from critics and fans.

Ora, who has become friendly with One Direction (especially 19-year-old Harry Styles), tweeted a photo of herself with Payne backstage at the concert, with this accompanying message: "Went to watch X factor tonight at the 02 and look who I found! Liam so good to see ya buddy!" Another backstage photo that circulated on the Internet showed Payne and "The X Factor" U.K. 2012 winner James Arthur posing a photo together.

Payne's 24-year-old dancer girlfriend, Danielle Peazer is a backup dancer on the tour. Payne and Peazer have been dating since 2010. They met when she was a backup dancer on "The X Factor" U.K. and he was a contestant on the show.

One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010. The group was part of "The X Factor" U.K. 2011 tour, which also included former "X Factor" U.K. contestants who were in the show's Top 9 in 2010: Matt Cardle, Rebecca Ferguson, Cher Lloyd, Mary Byrne, Paije Richardson, Aiden Grimshaw, Katie Waissel and Wagner Carrilho.

The 2013 "X Factor" U.K. tour launched on Jan. 26 in Manchester, England, and ends on Feb. 28 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The acts on the tour were those that were in the Top 7 on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012: Arthur, Jahmene Douglas, Christopher Maloney, Union J, Rylan Clark, Ella Henderson and District3.

The tour has been getting mostly positive reviews so far.

The Daily Mirror gave 4 out of 5 stars in its review of the Feb. 7, 2013, show in London. The Daily Mirror's James Robertson said that Arthur, Douglas and Henderson were the standouts, and that Henderson "stole the show." Robertson concluded: "If there's one thing I learned from spending my evening watching the 'X Factor' finalists, it's that they are without a doubt the most talented swines in its history."

The Daily Telegraph rated the concert 3.5 stars out of 5. The Daily Telegraph's Michael Hogan commented on Arthur's weight gain, Clark's tone-deaf, campy performance, Maloney (who is 34) being too old for the mostly young and mostly female audience, and Union J being more popular with the audience than District3. Once again, Arthur, Douglas and Henderson were named as the outstanding talents of the concert. Hogan said that Henderson was like a "mini-Adele"; Douglas' "vocal gymnastics were equally strong, although he fell into that diva trap of overdoing the vibrato"; and Arthur's "angsty intensity and the raw, bluesy catch to his voice make him the most intriguing winner in years."

Also seen at the concert: "Celebrity Big Brother" host Brian Dowling, who has become a friend to "Celebrity Big Brother" Season 11 winner Clark.
