Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Gibbs won the judges and fans over with her performances of Oasis' "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" and James Taylor's "You've Got A Friend." Under the mentorship of judge Nicole Scherzinger, her confidence and soulful Sharon Jones-esque voice propelled the 53 year old into the semifinals. Hollywood Park Casino is honored to have Gibbs kick off the grand re-opening event, as she brings her powerful pipes and "x factor" talent to make this a night to remember!

The highly anticipated grand re-opening will begin with a red carpet at 6:00 PM and celebrations continuing throughout the evening. The monumental event will commemorate the revealing of the casino's newly renovated interior, showcasing contemporary, modern designs including a state-of-the-art TV wall.
