The contestant Marcus Canty took to the stage last night to perform on X Factor during rock week. The singer that is being mentored by judge L.A. Reid took to the stage to perform an iconic Janis Joplin hit song. The judges liked the performance, and Canty closed the show with the song.
The song that Marcus Canty performed was "Piece of My Heart," one of Janis Joplin's most famous songs. He did a great job with it, and he certainly is a great performer. There is no doubt that Canty's fans were happy with the performance last night, and will be looking forward to watching the results show tonight to see if Canty will remain on the show for another week, next week.
There have been some great performances on the show since the live shows began, and Marcus Canty has been an instant fan favorite ever since he auditioned for the judges. It is clear that the fans are looking forward to seeing who will be winning the $5-million-dollar recording contract.
