"X Factor" co-host Khloe Kardashian may well be out of a job next season TV Guide reported on Feb. 18. A spokesperson has not confirmed this decision, but rumors have flown about Kardashian's rough performance in the position and difficulty bonding with fellow co-host Mario Lopez.
Lopez has been invited back for next season, but if Kardashian leaves, she won't be alone. Judge L.A. Reid announced his departure before the season finished and Britney Spears stated in January she would be leaving the show.
Kardashian brought her not inconsiderable fame and fanbase to the show, but gaffes such as the wardrobe malfunction that captured Simon Cowell's attention have garnered criticism. Khloe has also been criticized for her somewhat robotic attention to the teleprompter which is only exaggerated by her co-host's more fluid approach.
"X Factor" is no stranger to uncertainty. The show has been plagued by judges joining and leaving the cast as well as other changes.
