In keeping with her positive and upbeat personality, country music icon Wynonna has forgiven and moved on from an article published by CMTT regarding her singing of the National Anthem recently at a Vanderbilt game.
In a tweet on Sept. 2 Wynonna let fans know that all was right with the world. CMTT apologized for the "cheat sheet" headline and the gifted singer and songwriter has moved on. You can read the exchange between Wynonna and CMTT on Twitter. CMTT offered a sincere apology and Wynonna graciously accepted.
“@By_Rachael @cmtt it’s all ok. I’ve let it go. My feelings were hurt & they apologized. Moving on….”
By forgiving and moving on, Wynonna, the mother of two teenagers, sets a positive example for not only her children, but her fans. No matter what challenges Wynonna has faced, she has always met them head on. This latest Twitter scuffle with CMTT was minor compared to the life and death motorcycle accident that took husband Cactus Moser’s leg in 2012.
Cactus, best known as the drummer from “Highway 101,” courageously battled back from and almost deadly motorcycle accident with his superstar wife by his side every step of the way. Wynonna and Cactus old their story of recovery in a GAC documentary, “Wynonna & Cactus: The Road Back."
