Wynkoop's Parade of Darks coming December 7th

See also

Parade of Darks, the grandest celebration of dark beers, will be held at Wynkoop Brewing Company on Saturday, December 7th, from 1-4pm. To gain entry into the event, all beers must be at least amber-colored or blacker resulting in one of the most monochromatic beer festivals in existence.

All proceeds from Parade of Darks will go to Denver’s largest hunger-relief program: Metro CareRing. Furthermore, a silent auction (with prizes ranging from piano lessons, weekend getaways, beer and brewery memorabilia, and local gift cards) will also benefit those most in need.

Attendees will enjoy unlimited samples and interactions with fellow beer geeks as most booths will feature a brewery representative. There’s also a possibility that Gov. Hickenlooper, a co-founder of Wynkoop, might also attend.

Pre-event tickets are $35 and day-of-event tickets are $42. Parade of Darks raised $14,000 last year and seeks to top that number in 2014.

Purchase tickets here.
