Six Man Tag Team Match

The Shield (WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) versus Kane and The New Age Outlaws (The Road Dogg & Billy Gunn)

The Shield is the hottest thing going in WWE and has been since they arrived on the scene in late 2012.

Since this past fall they have formed an uneasy alliance with Triple H and The Authority, doing their bidding. During that time the trio also saw some infighting and fought a losing war with The Wyatt Family. The trio’s turning point came when they refused to attack Jerry “The King” Lawler at the request of The Director of Operations Kane. Rather they turned their aggression onto Kane themselves.

With that action The Shield became fan favorites. They patched up personal differences and found renewed focus. Kane has since recruited The New Age Outlaws, long-time allies of Triple H and holdovers from the “Attitude” era.

This is a classic case of young versus old, youth versus experience and honor versus treachery. The Shield now has a renewed focus and vigor. As an allied front once again there looks to be no stopping them. Their offense gets tighter and more exciting each match and their explosiveness provides for highly entertaining matches and crowd pleasing spots.

The Shield should dominant this match and look impressive on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.” The break-up of the group and “rocket push” of Roman Reigns is coming, but here’s hoping the trio continues to run roughshod for some time to come before the inevitable happens.
