John Cena finds himself in unfamiliar territory when it comes to this WrestleMania. He is firmly entrenched in the middle of the card facing a brand new, untested villain that is one of the hottest acts WWE has produced in a long time.

Wyatt laid down the gauntlet for Cena at the Royal Rumble when he interfered in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout and cost him the match and the Title. Since that point, Bray Wyatt and his Family engaged in a brutal feud with The Shield but continued too call out Cena at every turn.

Bray challenged Cena’s perfect All-American image and the legacy he has built for himself. Wyarr looks to take down the façade that he believes Cena has created for himself. Bray and his Family have gotten the best of Cena on more than one occasion and have seemingly gotten into his head.

To combat, Cena has changed up his usual game plan and tried for his own mind games to combat Wyatt’s psychological warfare.

This will be a test for both men. For Cena, it will be a chance to see whether he can lead a younger, less experienced opponent through a four star match. For Wyatt, it will be a moment to see whether the veritable rookie can hang on “The Grandest Stage of Them All” and produce when it is needed. John Cena is clearly WWE’s “golden boy” and the true face of the company. Even when he is not in the main event, he is the gatekeeper of the main event. And if Bray Wyatt wants to accepted as a top level, true main event talent in the company he must excel when every eye in the wrestling world is pointed at him.
