WWE 'WrestleMania XXX' live recap, results: Who walked out as the champion?

On Sunday, April 6, 2014, WWE headed to New Orleans with all of its superstars for "WrestleMania XXX," and it was destined to be an amazing show. There was no way possible that it couldn't be anything other than spectacular with a stacked card and legends set to make their appearances. Watching it on TV had to be one thing, but being there in person was something else entirely.

Below is a full recap of "WrestleMania XXX" and all the results from a live viewing in New Orleans. If you haven't seen the show or don't want to know the results, stop reading now.

~ The Usos retained the tag-team titles on the pre-show match by defeating three other teams. Los Matadores were eliminated first and then Rybaxel. It came down to the Usos and the Real Americans and Cesaro ended up being pinned after being thrown into Jack Swagger.

After the match, Swagger attacked Cesaro who then did the big swing on Swagger and got a giant "WE THE PEOPLE" from the crowd.

~ Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Rock opened up the event with a promo about the history of the WWE and to properly welcome everyone to the "Silverdome" as Hogan kept calling it.

~ Triple H and Daniel Bryan opened up the matches for the event as the winner would need time before being placed into the main event. The crowd was solely behind Bryan and the "YES" chants were incredibly loud. This was truly a great opening match with Triple H using his power and going after Bryan's injuries while Bryan would use his speed and technical skills to fight back.

Once all was said and done, Triple H hit a Pedigree but Bryan kicked out. As HHH went for another, Bryan avoided it and hit the running knee for the pin. After the match, Triple H decimated Bryan and his injured shoulder.

~ The Shield absolutely destroyed Kane and the New Age Outlaws in a less-than-five-minute squash. The Shield double-triple-powerbombed NAO to end the match.

~ The Andre the Giant Memorial battle Royal was next and there were a lot of impressive spots once it cleared out a little. Kofi Kingston made a late name for himself. It then came down to Sheamus, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, and Cesaro as the final four, but Sheamus and Del Rio eliminated each other.

Cesaro finished it off by actually body slamming Big Show out of the ring to win the big trophy. Shades of the Silverdome in "WrestleMania III" when Hogan slammed Andre. One of the better battle royals.

~ John Cena was able to pull a victory out of nowhere by hitting a second Attitude Adjustment on Bray Wyatt. During the match, Wyatt was testing Cena to become evil and use aggression, but he wouldn't fall for it. This could have been better.

~ All of the inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2014 were introduced, and they got great ovations.

~ In an instance that shocked the entire Superdome into complete silence, Brock Lesnar defeated the Undertaker and ended the streak. No-one had any clue what to do when it happened, and it was actually hard to believe for just about everyone in the place. Now, at 21-1, the streak is officially over.

~ AJ Lee was somehow able to hold onto her Divas Title against 13 other divas in a match that the crowd could have literally cared any less about.

~ The main event pitted Daniel Bryan against Randy Orton and Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight title, and Bryan overcame all odds to take it. The match was fantastic and saw interference from Triple H and Bryan being taken away on a stretcher, but he was able to pin Batista and take the title.

The crowd was rather dead after the Undertaker loss and through the Divas match, but they ended up waking up midway through the main event. Once that pin was made, they went nuts as confetti shot into the air and a giant "YES" chant closed out the show.
