Before the match they showed the well done, but over played Rock-John Cena hype video. They also showed Snooki of Jersey Shore fame in the crowd and announced it is 55 degrees outside in the open air arena.
Ryback versus Mark Henry
This match also got a nice video package that aired before it to show what all the fuss was about between the two men.
They started with a big staredown and face off. They try shoulder blocks and clubbing shots but neither budged. Henry finally dropped Ryback with a wicked clothesline. Henry then with a big powerslam for one. Off the ropes and Ryback got Henry with kicks. Ryback tried for a suplex which Henry reversed and put him on the apron. He then rammed Ryback into the ringpost, who was still on the apron. A shot from Henry sent Ryback to the floor.
Ryback rolled back in and Henry kept on the offense with slow, plodding, clubbering offense. Henry then locked in a bearhug. Henry hit a clothesline to send Ryback outside the ring again. Ryback was back in the ring after a nine count.
Back in the ring they trade blows again and Henry went back to the bearhug. Ryback came back with a Meat Hook Clothesline. He then looked for Shell Shocked but couldn’t get Henry up and collapsed with Henry on top of him.
Henry then simply rolled Ryback over and got the pinfall.
WINNER – Mark Henry
I did not see that finish coming I guess. Trainers came to check on Ryback but Henry scared them off. Henry then went to pick up Ryback dropped him with a double leg takedown. Ryback then hit Henry with Shell Shocked post-match for the moral victory.
