The WWE held their annual press conference on the week before Wrestlemania and the stars were out in full force as the WWE broadcast it for the first time on the WWE Network. Here is a look at the WWE "Wrestlemania 30" press conference recap for the event held on April 1.
The WWE 'Wrestlemania 30' press conference took place at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York and announcer Josh Matthews welcomed the crowd.
The press conference kicked off with Vicki Guerrero and the Bella Twins coming in to promote the Divas match at "Wrestlemania 30." They mentioned that there will be a new Divas champion, promoted the "Total Divas" show and their rivalry with Summer Rae and then both were asked questions about their boyfriend's matches (Brie is engaged to Daniel Bryan and Nikki is dating John Cena). Summer Rae then comes out and says some things as well.
Mark Henry is up next and they talk about the Axxess event and the Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal that will take place at WWE 'Wrestlemania 30.'
Michael Cole takes over and brings out Stephanie McMahon. She talks about the first Wrestlemania event and Andre the Giant. She then talks about what the WWE will be doing over the week, with hospital visits, anit-bullying Be a STAR events, and the Wrestlemania reading events. She also talked about the WWE helping to raise money for Drew Brees' charity and the Boys and Girls Club.
Hulk Hogan was out next. He talks about the history of Wrestlemania and how special it is this year.
Triple H is up next. He said that, above all, he is a fan who had a dream of being part of the WWE and talks about how successful the WWE is now. He then puts over the entire NXT brand, namedropping The Wyatt Famile, The Shield and Big E as men who came up through the developmental program to be stars. He then said stars from NXT will compete at Axxess events and will be broadcast on the WWE Network.
Triple H then puts over Daniel Bryan, but then breaks into character and talks about ending Bryan's dream at "Wrestlemania 30." That brings out Daniel Bryan. He says that he is here because of the fans.
Batista is out next. He says the notes he is supposed to read from is garbage and that he hates being at these events. He said that he feels bad for Daniel Bryan because there was no one here to chant "Yes" with him. He then said this is the last time we see him without the WWE World title.
Randy Orton is out next. He stays in character and talks about winning on Sunday. After that, all four men come out for a photo op and Daniel Bryan chants "Yes" while staring down Triple H.
John Cena is out next. He pretty much just talks about the legacy of Wrestlemania and how important it is to the fans.
The WWE 'Wrestlemania 30' press conference ended after that with one giant photo opportunity.
