According to Wrestlezone's Justin Labar, WWE is looking at two new possible match-ups for Wrestlemania 28 which conflict with previously reported plans for the big show. Up until this past Monday outside of The Rock vs. John Cena, Triple H challenging The Undertaker's undefeated streak and Chris Jericho taking on WWE Champion CM Punk were two matches that appeared to be 'locks' for the big show in Miami.
Wresltezone understands through sources that WWE feels motivated to maybe go in a different creative direction with Wrestlemania due to the marequee matches being leaked online before they were officially announced. The new matches have Triple H vs. CM Punk and Chris Jericho vs. The Undertaker. These two new 'Mania matches are being "heavily considered".
With Royal Rumble this Sunday, this week tends to be tense for building the essential parts of the all important Wrestlemania card later in the year. The winner of the Royal Rumble match gets a Wrestlemania World title match so the 'road' gets set there. Though the road is not set just for one man but a cast of central characters heading into 'Mania. On Sunday during the Royal Rumble, expect to see a lot of storylines develope into a fueds for Wrestlemania 28.
