The WWE has plans in place to start a new merchandising deal for a “Big 4” of legends of the WWE. According to PWS on March 12, those four names are Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Undertaker and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
The WWE wants to kick off this push at “Wrestlemania 30” and the only person that is not yet scheduled to appear at the big event.
The Undertaker is booked to wrestle Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan is hosting the show and The Ultimate Warrior is getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. That leaves Austin, and the WWE is trying to find a way to include him at “Wrestlemania 30.”
Austin has said publicly that he has no intentions of appearing at “Wrestlemania 30” for no reason. He said that unless there is a good reason for him to be there it was not worth him coming back for. Therefore, the WWE is looking into trying to figure out how they can insert him into the event in a non-wrestling based storyline.
"Wrestlemania 30" takes place on April 6 from New Orleans and will air on both pay-per-view and the WWE Network.
