One of the highlights to come out of yesterday's WWE Live event at New York City's Madison Square Garden was a spectacular moonsault performed off of the top of a 15 high steel cage by one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes. The stunning move gave Rhodes and his brother Goldust the victory over their opponents the Real Amercians Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger. You can watch Rhodes hit the death-defying maneuver in the video posted with this article.
Several reports posted online by fans who attended the sold-out show at MSG described it as the "match of the night" and that Rhode's high flying finale to the match was a hard act to follow for the rest of the talent. That is quite breakthrough for the WWE Tag Team Champs whose match on this important holidfay show in WWE's home arena out-shined a main event between John Cena falling to Randy Orton for the WWE World Championship.
This non-televised WWE show also featured Sin Cara, the Great Khali, Zack Ryder, the Big Show, and Kane in action. Former World Champion Alberto Del Rio made his in-ring return losing to Rey Mysterio on this show after a hiatus due to a concussion he suffered weeks ago on WWE RAW.
WWE also presented another post-Christmas live event yesterday in Chicago at the infamous Allstate Arena. This show featured Daniel Bryan and the Usos defeating the Wyatt Family in a 6-man steel cage match and hometown hero CM Punk overcoming the Shield in a 3-on-1 handicap match.
