The WWE taped their annual “Tribute to the Troops” show on Dec. 11 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord at McChord Field in Washington. Here is a look at the “Tribute to the Troops” spoilers and results for the show which will air Christmas week.

One important thing to understand about the WWE “Tribute to the Troops” show is that it takes place outside of the WWE storylines and is really just there as a way to entertain the U.S. military troops. Often, feuds are forgotten and the WWE just tries to put on the most entertaining show they can.

The first match of the show saw Big E Langston and Mark Henry defeat Ryback and Curtis Axel. It is rumored this was a dark match and will not appear on the television broadcast itself.

Up next Daniel Bryan battled Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family. Bryan won by DQ when Luke Harper interfered. CM Punk came in for the save and Vickie Guerrero re-started it as a tag team match. Bryan and Punk won by DQ when Bray Wyatt interfered and John Cena came in for the save. Guerrero re-started it as a six-man match. The good guys then won when Cena pinned Harper.

The Prime Time Players beat 3MB, The Usos and Rey Mysterio beat The Shield, Brie Bella won a battle royal, Kofi Kingston beat Dolph Ziggler, and R-Truth beat Fandango.

Also on hand, Daughtry performed a short musical concert and Jeff Dunham did some standup comedy. It sounds like the show ended with Big Show coming out to do some standup with Dunham and then beating Damien Sandow in a match.

WWE “Tribute to the Troops” airs on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
