WWE superstar tears ACL, out until end of 2013

It looks like CM Punk may have jinxed WWE superstar Tyson Kidd. According to PWInsider on Jan. 10, Kidd suffered a torn ACL and will miss the next 10 to 12 months due to the injury.

The injury announcement comes at a strange time for Kidd. On Monday night, CM Punk cut another one of his legendary pipe bombs, where he brought up a lot of backstage dirt.

Punk mentioned how Brodus Clay had to dance like a fool to get over with the fans in order to get screen time. Punk also said that a "workhorse" like Tyson Kidd busts his butt but an invisible child named Little Jimmy gets more TV time.

Kidd, who trained in Canada as one of the final students of Bret Hart's family dungeon has been getting a little more screen time on secondary shows like Superstars as Justin Gabriel's tag team partner.

Kidd hasn’t been used in a major angle since he upset Tensai last year, but that angle died after a few weeks and Kidd went back to the secondary show again. The last time Kidd was in a meaningful angle was 2010 when he and David Hart Smith held the tag team titles as part of the Hart Dynasty.

Tyson Kidd tore his ACL in a match over the holiday, and not only finished the match but wrestled the next night anyway. He will be out of action until the end of 2013.
