Current WWE superstar Sin Cara has been suspended by the WWE for violating the company's Wellness Policy. According to a Monday report by, Sin Cara, real name Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, will be suspended for 30 days. WWE did not reveal what substance Sin Cara took to cause the violation.

The suspension now explains why Sin Cara was eliminated so quickly in the SmackDown Money In The Bank Ladder match. During the early portion of the PPV opening match, Sin Car took a nasty powerbomb by Sheamus onto a ladder that was positioned outside the ring. Sin Cara laid on the ground after the move, twitching, and had to be escorted to the back.

Sin Cara signed with the WWE in February as he was considered the top star in Mexico. He made his TV debut on the April 4th edition of Monday Night RAW. Sin Cara quickly became a popular wrestler with his high flying maneuvers. He was switched to SmackDown so that the WWE could edit out some of his mistakes as he transitions to the WWE style of wrestling.

Sin Cara is considered HHH's top signing as the former WWE champion, and son in-law to Vince McMahon, heads up the WWE's Developmental department. Over the weekend it was learned that the WWE has had troubles with acquiring the trademark to Sin Cara's name. It appears that things aren't looking good for Sin Cara right now. However, with HHH fully in his corner, I expect Sin Cara to return from this suspension. Hopefully the WWE gets him some ring time down in FCW to continue his transition.
