“The Biggest Event of the Summer” and most anticipated WWE event is arriving in Los Angeles! The 27th annual WWE SummerSlam is coming back to STAPLES Center as your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas take center stage on August 17 at 4:30 p.m.

The WWE SummerSlam is a professional wrestling event featuring matches from different wrestlers with pre-existing backstories and plots shown on WWE’s television programs. Considered as one of the four major WWE events of the year, it is highlighted by a couple of big matches that is sure to provide fans with the action and entertainment they are expecting. In last year’s exciting WWE SummerSlam, Daniel Bryan stunned viewers as he pinned John Cena to the ground in a highly regarded match.

SummerSlam originally debuted at New York City in 1988 and had alternated to different venues annually. Since it was announced as the permanent site of the event in 2009, STAPLES Center continues to exclusively host the WWE SummerSlam, now for the sixth straight year.

The WWE SummerSlam is an action-packed event you won’t want to miss! Tickets are sure to sell quickly, so don’t forget to purchase your tickets when they go on sale.

Ticket prices range from $25 to $475 and can be purchased starting in March 2014. The venue presale for past WWE buyers will commence Tuesday, March 11 at 10:00 p.m. to Friday, March 14 at 10:00 p.m. The venue presale for all buyers will start on Wednesday, March 12 at 10:00 p.m. and end on Friday, March 14 at 10:00 p.m. Tickets for the general public go on-sale beginning Saturday, March 15 at 10:00 a.m. through AXS.com and the STAPLES Center Box Office.
