A WWE star saves mom and it is TMZ who reported the big news. Cagedseats.com reported on March 20 that after former WWE professional wrestler Chris Masters saved his mother from a burning house, he went straight to TMZ to tell his story.
That actually makes a lot of sense for Masters, who has been floating around without a major wrestling gig since TNA Wrestling used him in their short term promotion in the Middle East. Maybe Masters can use some of this new publicity to get a new chance in one of the big wrestling promotions.
According to the website, Masters went to conduct an interview with TMZ shortly after the news broke. The story was that a neighbor barricaded himself in Masters' mother's home and then threatened to burn the house down if anyone tried to get in. By the time that Masters got the police there, the neighbor started the fire. Masters uprooted a tree in the yard and used it to bash out a window, where he pulled his mother out.
Like that, the former WWE star saves mom and he becomes a national hero.
Masters used to wrestle in the WWE as The Masterpiece, an arrogant bad guy who used the full nelson called the Masterlock to beat his opponents. When the WWE began to crack down on steroid use, Masters dropped a lot of muscle mass and soon the WWE cut him.
Maybe this latest act of heroism can win him his job back. Claiming a current WWE star saves mom should would look good for the company.
