WWE spoils Batista's big return to the company

There have been rumors over the last year that Batista was considering making a big return to the WWE, but he has shot most of them down as rumors as his acting career grows. PWInsider reported on Dec. 20 that it is no longer just rumors and Batista will be back within the next month to the WWE.

What is humorous about this news is that the WWE spoiled the surprise themselves when they advertised in radio promotions that Batista would be at the house show in Las Vegas on Feb. 16. Shortly after that news broke, sources within the WWE said Batista was indeed coming back.

Since leaving the WWE, Batista has developed a nice acting career. He has moved up from B-grade action movies to two major blockbusters in the 2013 Vin Diesel film "Riddick" and the 2014 Marvel Comics movie "Guardians of the Galaxy."

Now that the "Guardians of the Galaxy" filming has completed, Batista will return to the WWE for his "final run," allowing him to go out with one big push. The word is that he might be a surprise entrant in the "Royal Rumble" and then will work all the way up through "Wrestlemania 30."

There are also rumors that Batista will actually stay in the WWE until he is needed for the "Guardians of the Galaxy" promotional tour. That Marvel Comics movie hits theaters on Aug. 1, 2014.
