Heading into this weekend's "Royal Rumble" pay-per-view, there are some interesting plans for "Wrestlemania 30." According to PWS on Jan. 25, the main event of "Wrestlemania 30" is reported to be Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE World Championship, meaning that Batista is - at this time - scheduled to win the Royal Rumble match.
This is one of the problems with only having one world championship belt again. This means that whoever wins the Royal Rumble gets the "Wrestlemania" main event and that kills a lot of suspense leading to the big card. It does mean that the Road to Wrestlemania will be set after the Royal Rumble and the rest of the card can flow naturally.
Here are the rest of the rumored "Wrestlemania 30" matches.
The biggest match on the card outside of the WWE World Championship is likely to be The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. This isn't the first time these two men have wrestled, but the last time they faced, Undertaker was much younger. Lesnar still likes to wrestle stiff, so this might not be the best choice for Undertaker.
Honestly, the rumored Daniel Bryan vs. Undertaker match would be a better idea, but it looks like Bryan is being put into a match with Sheamus, of all people. Maybe they are letting Bryan get his revenge for the embarrassing loss he had a few years back.
CM Punk and Triple H are also supposed to wrestle, to capitalize on the CM Punk vs The Authority storyline, which is a good idea because Punk fits the rebel much better than Daniel Bryan.
As for John Cena, the "Wrestlemania 30" match rumored for him is against Bray Wyatt as the WWE continues to push him to the main event scene.
