As "WWE Monday Night Raw" went off the air, The Shield made a hasty escape from John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus. While the group thought they were going to fight Cena one-on-one, they found all three wrestlers coming after them. According to WrestleZone on Feb. 5, after "Raw" went off the air, Cena announced in a video that there was a new match added to the "Elimination Chamber" pay per view.
The new match, unsurprisingly, pits Cena, Sheamus and Ryback against the three members of The Shield in a six-man tag team match.
This match comes as no surprise, as the WWE has been building it over the last few weeks. However, one surprise is that on "WWE Smackdown" last week, Sheamus was one of the men in the ring when Booker T was talking about building the Elimination Chamber match for the number one contender to the World Championship.
With Sheamus now in the six-man match, he probably won't be in the Elimination Chamber, which means Sheamus won't be contending for the world championship at Wrestlemania.
The members of the Elimination Chamber now include Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton. The other three members appear to be between Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Randy Orton and Kane
